THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re hiring an experienced Landscape Installation Supervisor / Field Operations & Installation Supervisor to manage 3-4 installation crews and lead our field operations. This is primarily a hands-on field role—you’ll be on job sites regularly, working alongside crews, performing installations of plants (interior and exterior), living walls, seasonal containers, and holiday displays. The role includes office time for planning, crew assignments, and weekly team meetings. Field/office balance flexes seasonally.

Perfect for someone who:

  • Wants variety: interior tropical plants AND exterior seasonal work
  • Excels at managing multiple crews and complex logistics

  • Wants year-round work (not just mowing season)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Crew Leadership & Field Operations:

  • Manage and lead 3-4 installation crews across interior and exterior projects
  • Lead weekly installation team meetings to assign crews and align on priorities
  • Work in the field performing plant installations (interior plantscapes, exterior landscapes, seasonal containers, holiday décor)
  • Act as working foreman on complex or high-profile installations
  • Manage logistics of running multiple crews across different commercial job sites simultaneously

Installation & Quality Control:

  • Supervise crews on job sites ensuring quality standards and safety protocols
  • Conduct pre-installation site visits and coordinate project logistics
  • Train and coach team members through hands-on demonstration
  • Troubleshoot challenges in real-time and adapt when priorities shift
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets

Project Coordination:

  • Read and interpret landscape plans, designs, and installation specifications
  • Coordinate with designers and project managers for seamless execution
  • Track project time/materials and own crew-related KPIs
  • Lead holiday installation season (November-January)

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Experience:

  • 2- 3+ years hands-on experience in:
  • Commercial landscape installation (plant materials, containers, seasonal plantings)
  • Interior plantscapes/interiorscapes (tropical foliage maintenance/installation) OR

  • ✓ Pass DOT physical and at-hire drug screen (drug-free workplace)

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Are patient and committed to building trust with your team over time
  • Love field work over desk work (though comfortable with necessary office time)

  • Are highly flexible and adaptable—you pivot quickly when things change
  • Lead by example and motivate through action (not just from behind a desk)
  • Excel at problem-solving on the fly
