Holiday Installer (Full-Time, Seasonal)

Oakland Green Interiors (a division of Oakland Nursery) is seeking a motivated, reliable team member to join our seasonal holiday installation crew. We’re looking for someone who embodies our core values and is ready to be part of our busiest, most festive part of the year!

About This Role

We’re seeking enthusiastic candidates to be part of our team from now through mid-January. You’ll be joining a passionate, woman-led team during a period of lots of action! This position combines hands-on installation work with an eye for detail and care, offering variety and the opportunity to develop unique skills. 

Your work will include:

  • Holiday décor installation and removal: think artificial and live trees, wreaths, garlands, and more! (November-January)
  • Installing seasonal plants and cut greens in exterior containers
  • Interacting professionally with high-profile clients
  • Some evening and weekend work during peak season

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid, insurable driver’s license with clean driving record (you’ll drive company vehicles, potentially including box trucks up to 26′ long – no CDL required, but we will train you!)
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and client-focused
  • Physically able to lift 40 lbs, work on ladders, and be on your feet 7-8 hrs/day
  • Flexible schedule during busy season (some Saturdays required)
  • Comfortable using digital apps for tracking time & materials
  • Appreciation for design and care for materials—we’re bringing holiday magic to our clients and everything has to look great!
  • Bonus skills: landscaping/horticulture experience, comfort with tools, leadership, or problem-solving mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly wages ($15-$17/hour based on experience)
