Staghorn ferns are epiphytic, meaning they naturally grow by attaching themselves to tree trunks or limbs. In the wild, they feed on decomposing plant matter instead of drawing nutrients from whatever they're attached to. When it comes to propagation, young ferns start out in soil-- but when they grow larger, you'll want to hang them upright in a basket or wall hanging piece!

Our current inventory is 6" in grow pot size.
