These tough, air purifying plants thrive on neglect and are a must-have for any low maintenance indoor garden. 'Black coral' snake plants have dark green, almost black leaves with silver variegation. Snake plants grow from underground rhizomes that hold water, so they can go weeks without needed to be watered! They are native to tropical and sub tropical regions of Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Watering: When the soil is completely dry, then even a little longer. Every 3-4 weeks, and make sure that the pot does not sit in water.

Lighting: Snakes can tolerate low light conditions, but will grow (and potentially bloom) in medium or bright light.

Toxic to pets: Yes. Can cause stomach upset and vomiting.
